Meet the force behind SEDO’s life-changing programmes, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ali, a passionate humanitarian and development expert steering the organization’s mandate to enhance lives in Somalia. As Programmes Coordinator, he directs with purpose and vision, managing a wide-ranging portfolio of programmes that promote environmental conservation, youth empowerment, livelihoods, and community resilience. With an in-depth knowledge of Somalia’s development context, Mohamed spearheads cutting-edge interventions, from watershed management and mangrove reforestation to nutrition support and vocational training. His extensive experience in program design, implementation, and strategic partnerships at the local and international levels ensures that SEDO’s interventions are responsive, inclusive, and result-driven. Mohamed is committed to facilitating sustainable development grounded in local realities. SEDO programs have continued to grow in depth and scope under his leadership, as they are a source of transformation and hope in isolated and vulnerable communities across Puntland and beyond.
