Mr. Mohamed Ahmed is a humanitarian and development professional serving as Program Manager at SEDO Somalia, where he leads the planning, coordination, and implementation of programmes aimed at improving the lives and resilience of vulnerable communities across Somalia. He oversees a diverse portfolio of programmes focused on environmental conservation, climate resilience, livelihoods, youth empowerment, food and nutrition security, and community development. With a strong understanding of Somalia’s humanitarian and development context, Moamed contributes to the design and delivery of practical, community-driven interventions, including watershed management, mangrove restoration, agricultural development, nutrition support, and vocational skills training. His experience in programme design and management, partnership development, stakeholder coordination, project implementation, monitoring, and strategic engagement with local and international partners supports SEDO’s efforts to deliver effective, inclusive, and sustainable interventions. Mohamed is committed to advancing locally led and sustainable development solutions that respond to community priorities and strengthen resilience to environmental, economic, and social challenges.
